Rachel's Challenge

Rachel's Challenge

The message of the Rachel's Challenge assembly program is that students have the power to make PERMANENT, POSITIVE, CULTURAL CHANGE in their schools and communities by accepting the challenge of Rachel Scott to start a chain reaction of kindness and compassion.  This page is dedicated to Acts of Kindness.  We are asking students from around the globe to contribute ideas to share.

Please send your ideas to oneworldproject@gmail.com and include the name of your school and your country.

At the end of the Rachel's Challenge program, Jewell's song "HANDS" was played.  Above is her music video for this song on YouTube.  CLICK HERE for the lyrics.

Below is the trailer for a great movie that really fits the theme of "Acts of Kindness".

Being Kind and Compassionate

Being Kind and Compassionate

Thoughts from:

MULTILINGUAL ACADEMY
La Puente High School
La Puente, California- USA

If you see someone sitting all alone:
Go up and talk to them.
Bring your friends over to meet them.
Ask them if they need help with anything.
Invite them to join you and your friends.
Let them know they are not alone.
Encourage them.
Tell them about the school.

Being kind to yourself:
Make good choices.
Take care of your health.
Be a good student.
Get a good education.
Do your best.
Never give up.

Be kind to your friends and family:
Talk about goals.
Congratulate them on their successes.
Help them when they need it.
Be polite.
Never let them down.
Be loyal.
Let them know they can depend on you.
Show them you love them.
Protect them.
Be sincere.
Tell the truth.
Listen to them.
Compliment them.
